I don't know how it works but it does work! I am fair skinned and burn the second I step outside. I have been using lavender and fco for the past two weeks and I have not burned once! The most I have applied is twice and my kids and I LIVE at the pool! I love that I am putting good things on my body and it has given me the best looking tan I have ever had :)
