[Everything doTERRA] Re: Help....what to use when stung by a stingray?

We had this experience years ago in Kino Bay and had been told to use
very hot water which we did and my husband said that hurt worse than
the sting. After about 20 minutes, the people we rented our condo
from came home and said a poultice of meat tenderizer (just meat
tenderizer mixed w/water to the consistancy of a roux) applied to the
sting. We did that and my husband felt immediate relief. We also
used benadryl to calm the histamine reaction. Knowing about the oils
now, I would have used the allergy blend of lemon, lavender and
peppermint in a capsule for that part of his treatment. Anytime we go
where there are stingrays, we keep meat tenderizer with us and now I
will also bring the allergy oils and a few empty capsules as well!
