do not have any expertise in chemistry but I found the following
http://sun.ars-grin.gov:8080/npgspub/xsql/duke/plantdisp.xsql?taxon=168
according to that boswellic acid is found in the resin but not
essential oils.
Many website have stated boswelic acids and essential oil are
extracted from resin. If boswelic acids are part of the essential oil,
then it wouldn't have to be mentioned seperatly.
I found one website that uses a different species for boswellic acid
and the resin has to be heated directly (with no water) to get the
Boswellic Acid (from how I read the information).
As for the webinar. I watched that webinar. I posted about it on my
blog (immediately taking it down for the time being) in the case I get
bombarded with essential oil critics.
I took some time to day to reflect and overall, I enjoy Doterra's
management team, their direction, their continued growth, and the
products have worked for me and the people around me.
I'm just glad to find out what critics say on the web before they show
up in my meeting or event surprisingly.
For now, I will focus on the benefits of frankincense. State that
Boswellic Acid is found in the Alpha CRS+.
and from my understanding, boswellic acid is found in the resin not
oil and when distilled properly pure frankincense should not contain
boswellic acids.
