Re: [Everything doTERRA] blending vs. layering

The layering is simply putting the oils on top of each other. The blends are
oils that are compatible and therefore can be put together in a bottle for ease
in applying.
Rob James Reference Book has a information about blending as does Shanna
Christs, Book of Charts. Both amazing oil books with great information. Rob's
book also has the history of oils that is very informative.

There was a post on here talking about "I wouldn't use those as a
blend, I would layer those".  They mentioned sometimes layering oils
worked better than blends.  Being new to DoTerra, what exactly does
that mean?  What is the difference between those two, please be
specific, for example, is there a certain amount of time in between,
etc.,...And, when do you know to layer vs. blend?  Thanks,
