Re: [Everything doTERRA] prescription pain med withdrawals and morphine bomb

Wow Susieq, good for u!  I don't have an answer to your question but I will say, maybe try the Deep Blue Polyphenol complex.  I'm guessing you've seen the positive remarks on here about them for pain.
Hats off to u for taking care of your health!!!  That's amazing & thank u for sharing.

I have been on Tylenol 3 for over five years because of a knee that is literally bone ground into bone and arthritis in both feet.  The dr prescribes 2 pills daily which I only take on the days I work.  Luckily my job on my feet is usually short shifts.  I didn't take them on the days off because I usually only had two days off in a row.  Due to a decline in the economy, I now usually get 3 days off in a row.  I found that by the third day I was going through withdrawal symptoms from the Tylenol 3.  I talked to the dr and pharmacist about this.  Both said that I wasn't taking enough of a dose to be addicted to the meds, but because I had been on them for 5 years it was possible.  So I made sure I take 2 pills at least every 2 days.  I'm just tired of having to go to the dr every 3 months plus deal with getting the pills refilled.  I have no insurance so it got expensive.

I recently heard of the morphine bomb of 6 drops Frank and 6 drops marjoran or oregano.  Last week I decided to give it a try.  I took one on my break when I normally took the Tylenol 3.  By the end of my shift I was hurting but not as bad as when I was taking the Tylenol 3.  I knew I'd need to wean down from the Tylenol 3 so I continued taking 1 daily of it.  Except I felt so good that after 3 days I forgot.  After 48 hours I was so extremely sick.  Every bit of my skin was hurting like the worse case of the flu I've ever had.  I have fibromyalgia, and it was worse than any flare I've had.  At first I thought it was a reaction to the oils, but after a lot of research I realized it was withdrawals.  I took 1 Tylenol 3 which didn't help the withdrawal, but I was determined to get off them completely. After about 36 hours I was feeling better. I know it is going to be hard thing to do.  I'm back to take 1 daily and the withdrawal symptoms are easing.

My question is I want to know if it is safe to take the morphine bomb daily for an extended period of time?  Or is it just a short term solution?
