Pat, thank u!! I've passed along this info to my friend. She has frankincense + I gave her some lemongrass & a few DB polyphenols. I now have add'l info so wondered if your recommendation might be any different.
Found out 8 yrs ago she had a Baker's Cyst, dr removed it, said it wouldn't come back but last Dec, she realized she was probably developing another one. She was in the middle of schooling, daughter's wedding, etc so she let it go. Then a couple of weeks ago it had just gotten to be very painful. Went to dr & he removed what amounted to a total of a "football sized" amt! She's been in a lot of pain from how much the dr had to remove (& from over-working because of the wedding!), so would you suggest anything different for the pain, etc? A Baker's cyst, also called a popliteal (pop-luh-TEE-ul) cyst, is usually the result of a problem with your knee joint, such as arthritis or a cartilage tear. Both conditions can cause your knee to produce too much fluid, which can lead to a Baker's cyst.
Although a Baker's cyst may cause swelling and make you uncomfortable, treating the probable underlying problem usually provides relief.
