[Everything doTERRA] EWG ratings and essential oil-what?!

This is very disturbing to me and I refuse to believe this! What do you all think? Here is the info I just read on one of my parenting boards. To me, a steam distilled plant should in no way be compared to a chemical. I am so angry over this comparison! I think it is just another way to try and keep people away from natural remedies! Just my opinion!

"They are now classifying Essential Oils as allergens in the database. EOs are now being "scored" in their rating system as being equivalent to PROPELYNE GLYCOL, which is a known carcinogen and petrochemical mix that causes allergic and toxic reactions!"
