RE: [Everything doTERRA] Type 1 Diabetes

I appreciate understanding the difference between the type types of diabetes.  I have never understood that Type 1 was auto immune related.

My opinion, based on my own experience, is that auto immune diseases can be reversed.  Years ago I was told I had lupus, where the body attacks itself.  Whether I really had lupus or some other auto immune disorder, I guess I’ll never know for sure as that is when I turned to holistic medicine.   The white cell count definitely suggested auto immune problems.   I do know I was very sick, and my immune system was definitely shot.   My kidneys were in trouble.  I turned to Homeopathy (German medicine) and cleaned up my diet and literally within weeks I began to see progress.  I never went back to a “western” doctor for treatment because I was fine literally the first year.   For years, I continued to have the tests run on my white blood cell count.  I have never had an issue since.  I have had a very strong immune system through the years.

The body is so resilient when we clean and nourish it properly.  So my question is, why wouldn’t you be able to reverse Type 1 Diabetes by detoxifying and building the immune system through proper nourishment? Please understand I’m not trying to be argumentative here, just curious to know other comments on the reversal of auto immune disorders.  Perhaps there’s more I do not understand.

Type 1 diabetes is an auto immune disease. Completely different from type 2 diabetes.

The white blood cells see the islet cells in the pancreas as 'bad' and they attack them and kill them.

Once they are all gone, you need insulin for the rest of your life.
If there was a 'cure' for Type 1 diabetes, it would be on the front page of every newspaper and magazine in the world.
I am a bit bitter about anyone finding a cure because the companies that make the supplies to help people with type 1 stay alive are making WAY too much money to help find a cure.

Everyone with type 1 diabetes has to use insulin each and every day for the rest of their lives. Either by injections with needles or with the help of an insulin pump. They also must test their blood sugar many times a day.
I am certain that doTerra oils and supplements will help to keep someone with type 1 diabetes healthy, but they will not cure them. They may help with any complications that someone has developed over the years of living with no insulin.
They will still need to count carbs, test their blood sugar and administer insulin....each and every day.

I know you want to help your mom and I am certain that doTerra can help her live a more healthy lifestyle,,, but your mom will always have type 1 diabetes. I wish her Dr. would have been a bit more helpful and supportive, but she is being realistic.

I hope I don't seem too negative, but I didn't want you to get your hopes up.

Learn as much as you can about Type 1 and be as supportive and helpful with your mom as you can!!

Hi Everyone, I am looking for some suggestions on how I can help my
mom. My mom is type 1 diabetic and  at a recent doctors appointment we
were told that her pancreas is not working, its completely shut down.
So my mom asked her doctor about taking the LLW supplements and was
trying to show her the info on it and the doctor answered without even
looking or even trying to look at the info: "Nothing is going to make
your pancreas work, it's shut down. So I don't want you to get your
hopes up." I was kinda shocked by her reply, but then I remembered I
have doterra! Now I've become ever more determined to help my moms
body repair itself and hopefully get her pancreas working again. So my
mom has done the Gx and Pb Assist and is awaiting the arrival of her
LLW pack. But I was wondering how the coriander and any other oils can
help and be applied for type 1 diabetes. We want to use the oils in
every way possible not only to surprise the doc with her results, but
ultimately so my mom will feel better. I'd love to hear your
suggestions!
