You can send your question to ryoung@doterra.com and receive a more
comprehensive answer. But I do believe that our oils are completely safe
from pesticides and chemicals. It is one of the reasons that CPTG was
incorporated. CERTIFIED PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE!. If when doing
the extensive testing that is required of all our oils, and if there are found
to be no pesticides or chemicals and if the oils have all of the correct
ingredients for that oil, then and only then are they accepted.
There have been instances when oil has been received, tested and
accepted and the next time the oils come in they are again tested.
And if they have not passed the rigorous standards set by doTerra, they
are not accepted. doTerra does not test just one vile of oils and a year later
test them again.
I stand before my groups of attendees and without doubt or skepticism
I explain out testing techniques to reassure those in attendance that
they are getting the finest, purest oil in the world, "yes I said the world".
Thanks,
Pat

Hi all. This is the unanswered question I have regarding the oils.
I've heard them referred to as "organic" and the company does promise
that they are free of pesticides. But I don't see an organic label
anywhere and I hesitate during my presentations to refer to them as
organic b/c I'm not entirely sure what the deal is.
I wonder, are the fields where our products are grown organic but just
not certified? Or are the pesticides removed after the plant is
harvested? I need some clarification on this...it's important to me
that I don't mislead anyone and I know this will come up at a class
sometime.
Thank you much!
