[Everything doTERRA] What to do with the oils after orthoscopic surgery?

I dont have experience w/knee sugery but my mom had BOTH of her hips replaced last yr & she swears by her oils...she used Deep Blue w/xtra Helichrysum & Wintergreen for her pain plus Lavender for any discomfort from the incision &inflammation that was there even a few weeks after surgery. She applied the oils as close to her incision as possible& once the bandaging was removed she even applied them directly to the incision staples& all:) She did great...it has been rough for her to recover from having both hips done &she needs both knees replaced this yr but all things considered she has done very very well. She has told me numerous times she could not have done it w/out her oils.

Just fyi one thing she learned was to be sure she applied oils prior to physical therapy...I know w/a torn menicus repair PT is not always used but thought it w/b good info just in case:)

Blessings to your wife! I hope all goes really well w/her recovery:)
