[Everything doTERRA] Re: Disturbing blog post maligning doTERRA

What Adrienne says is actually very benign for negativism.  Notice there was nothing derogatory about our leadership.  Not sure where she is getting the "One thing I really don't care for is that a lot of doTERRA reps (and corporate employees as well) say something like, "You'll know it works by its smell."  I've never heard anyone say that in classes or when I've been in contact with corporate.

It is interesting that the lemongrass and peppermint healed her groin  (http://wholenewmom.com/what-to-buy/the-great-essential-oils-showdown-which-essential-oils-company-is-best-part-3/ ), yet Adrienne is hung up on the smell of doTERRA's peppermint and questions the therapeutic affect of the complete distillation process.  I have been in contact with her over the whole peppermint smell and the owner of Native Nutritionals told her there was no way doTERRA's peppermint could be pure or not "heated" 8 months ago.  I watched a webinar where Dr. Hill specifically said our peppermint smelled so good because we only distill the leaves and most companies distilled the whole plant.  The owner of Native Nutritionals told her there is no way a company would go to the time and expense to only distill the leaves and flowers of peppermint.  Look at your bottle of peppermint, it says it is the leaves and flower tops so yes, there is a company that goes to the time and expense, it's doTERRA.

Adrienne doesn't claim that the Ylang Ylang or peppermint are unpure, just questions their "therapeutic value"because of the "complete" distillation and again, she pointed out her groin injury was healed by doTERRA's lemongrass and peppermint.  Complete distillation ensures that all the constituents that are in the plant are obtained.  The last I knew, the Terrashield ingredients are not all listed due to patent pending.  All the points she had on her doTERRA review area actually very weak.

She has also ignored the fact that doTERRA does multiple third party testing on every liter of oil and many different tests with Dr. Pappas' verification.  This is a huge cost and obviously needed from her previous post (part 3) that lists all the seedy activity that can go on in this industry. It's not that she found the "best essential oil company" as the blog title says. As Adrienne states, "At some point, I needed to be "OK with a super good, reasonably priced company" and call it a day."  To me that says she has settled, she has found a balance between cost and quality she is comfortable with.

Hi!  First, thank you so very much for this group.  I have learned much from all of you!

Unfortunately, wholenewmom has come out against doTERRA (and YL) on her essential oil blogging.

She has claimed that the complete distillation used by doTERRA for peppermint and YlangYlang is not truly pure or even a desirable quality of essential oil.  Does anyone have a rebuttal to this?  I understand that we are not looking to fight every attack on doTERRA, but it would be nice to have an educated and truthful answer for my clients and friends in regards to this issue.  Thank you.
