[Everything doTERRA] Re: horrible skin rash

I use Helichrysum when I have a rash, diluted with a carrier oil (usually coconut). It IS entirely possible to develop an allergy or sensitivity to the oils, so I always use a carrier oil.  I have a good friend who cannot use lavender after developing an allergy to it (she reports she used it neat "all the time" until she started getting a rash every time she used it).  I'm being careful, but they are so strong, using them neat doesn't seem necessary, or even best.

I'm taking the doTerra vitamins, drinking lemon water, and just started the GX Assist. What would be the one or two oils to treat the itching and burning? I don't want to over do it. Thanks you for the reply!

I broke out with a horrible rash Sept 20th. Went to the Dr. they said it was impentigo, I started taking antibotics and steroids, it didn't help. Went back to the dermatoligist and he said I was have an allergic reaction to something. I haven't changed soaps, ect. I went on a juice cleanse and things got better. I'm know on a gluten, soy, dairy free diet and the rash is much better but still present on my arm and neck. I feel like its eczema. Everyone keeps saying that it must be the oils. I haven't been using the oils everyday and I don't think that is it. Does anyone know of anyone who's had a rash or eczema from the oils? And what are some suggestions? Thank You!!
