oils! We haven't tried to make the blend yet for bi-polar, however,
he has used the oils for everything in-between and seems to be quite
sensitive to them, in other words, they work!
He is using a homeopathic for his bi-polar with GREAT success. We
have to buy it from Canada because he uses it in a very high dose 1 x
a week. He's done so well with it that he is not taking ANY other
medications. There is a great book we used to help us figure out
which homeopathic to use, email me if you want more info in that
direction since this is an oil site.
He uses balance a lot. One thing we found was, if he goes off wheat
he improves immensely. Balance on the bottom of the feet helps
immediately when he eats things he shouldn't, When he begins a manic
phase because he has gone off of everything, he is now open to me
saying "our word" and he then goes and takes a dose of his homeopathic
and balance on the feet. He's 27 now. The balance has been a godsend
in this situation.
He's just had reason to move back in with us for the next 8 months,
maybe I'll try making up a blend and see how it works! I'll keep you
posted.
Also, so far, we have not seen any oils INTERFERE with any of our
families medicines. She may need to be monitored because they may
need to change the dosage (reducing) because she is improving with the
oils, but as far as adverse I haven't seen any indication with my
family. When my son first began using the homeopathic and balance, he
was on 1500mg of Lithium. He began noticing that he didn't like how
it made him feel so, (being a young indestructible man) he went off
it! He didn't tell me until way later, because no one could tell
because of the homeopathic and balance!
He's doing quite well now.
