Are they bumpy?  Is it a rash?  Has he been in a Hot Tub or Swimming pool?  Has you put any citrus oils on his face and let him be in the sun light?  Has he had it before?  Does he have known allergies?

Without knowing these things, you could try lavender or frankincense at night.
