When I was younger & used to swim a lot I ended up getting swimmer's ear (ear infection) a lot. I learned that if you mix equal parts by volume of rubbing (isopropal) alcohol and vinegar and swab you ear out with this after swimming you can eliminate ear infections. Since I started this I've never had another ear infection and that includes many years of daily swimming for various swim teams.

I've had a lifetime of ear problems, blocked, draining, infected, ruptured . . .and on. I hate having water in my ears because it brings back painful memories of infections related to swimmers ear that I couldn't rectify. This summer has been a busy one for us, including lots of swimming. I have used basil (around the ear and along the jawline and on cotton in my ear) to unplug my ear and felt the water release immediately. I've also used purify the same way as well. I love it.
