You can put oils on a cotton ball in a dish or jar with open top, although it is not nearly as effective as a diffuser. The reed diffusers are supposed to be good, but I haven't tried them. I would NOT use a candle or heat-based unit, as in my opinion, the oils change under heat.
Let us know what you find out!

I am teaching 2nd grade and will be using oils in my classroom. I
have talked to other teachers who want to use them, but cannot buy a
diffuser at this time. Does anyone have ideas of how to use the oils
or get them into the air without a diffuser?
Also, have any teachers had problems with parents complaining about
the oils being used aromatically in the classroom?
Thanks! :)
