another son was using to clean off the driveway. The younger child
(5) who ran into the water stream got a deep cut every where the high
pressure water had touched him. (Across the chest, and arm) He was
even wearing a shirt, but it ripped the skin underneath.
With my heart beating rapidly, and with shaking hands, I grabbed for
Dr. Hills "Modern Essentials" book and followed the instructions for
wounds...
1) Helichrysum - to stop the bleeding (this was applied first)
2) Clove - to stop the pain (this stung at first, but he (my son)
handled it well - and it gave that wonderful numbing feeling)
3) Maleleuca - to fight infection
4) Lavender - sooths and heals...tons of great healing properties.
The next day the bruising the torn skin etc. was healing amazingly
well. It's day three and we couldn't be happier.
We love, love, love our oils.
Hope this helps :)
