[Everything doTERRA] grapefruit vs. grapefruit oil

I have a friend who is taking Simva Statin (a generic for Zocor) for
cholesterol. The pharmacist told her she could not eat grapefruit
while taking this medication (as is the case with all "statin"
drugs). She would like to use Slim and Sassy, but wants to make sure
it is OK for her to use since it has grapefruit oil in it. Any
suggestions for her???
