We had a Mustang that had not been ridden in 4 years, and had not been loaded in a trailer in over 2years, so he was very nervous, and wouldn't load. We used Lavender, and Balance, he licked the oils off our hands and then followed us right into the trailer.

I would try ON GUARD 1 drop in the palm of your hand and rub their front paws in it - you can do this a few times a day for several days and let us know what happens.

I believe it is a respiratory infection that is causing problems with his breathing. She loves animals, and really wants information on how to use the oils on them. If you are familiar with that - she would love to communicate with someone more knowledgeable on the subject! I am no help there unfortunately. Let me know if that is something you could help her with. Thank you so much!
