[Everything doTERRA] Re: spa night

I can help with this...we love making bath fizzies! It is a great
project for everyone to participate in, especially for around the
holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Birthdays, etc. What is a bath
fizzy....well, it is a delightful little bath bomb that is added to
the bath water once the tub is filled. It releases bubblies &
fragrance into the bath water, just make sure you add it after you
have entered the tub in order to experience the full effects. If you
are familiar with any of the Lush products, you will know that their
Bath Fizzies are their biggest seller, but they range in pricings from
$4.99 to as much as $10.99 for just one fizzy. Just think of the
money that you can save!! Also, check out the Lush website & see all
the varieties of bath fizzies that they make.

So here is the basic recipe for making bath fizzies, you can use any
type of molds you want, be it ice molds, cookie molds, cupcake molds,
mini cake molds, etc, just make sure that you use the rubbery plastic
ones for easier removal of the fizzies.

Bath Fizzies:
• 1-1/2 cup baking soda
• 1/2 cup citric acid
• 5 drops of essential oil of choice or combination
• Witch hazel in a fine mist sprayer
• Small cupcake or ice cube molds

First, mix the baking soda and citric acid in the bowl. Next, add in
five drops essential oil. Next, slowly add sprays of witch hazel to
the mixture as you stir. When the mixture begins to hold together when
you pinch it, it's ready to be spooned and pressed into the molds.
Keep the bath fizzies in the molds for about five or 10 minutes, then
flip and tap them out. Give them another spray or two of the witch
hazel to help toughen it up a bit on the outside. Let them dry and
they're ready for use.

I like to wrap them individually in colorful tissue paper, makes for a
nice presentation. You can also research online for other bath
fizzies and see all the possible combinations of ingredients that one
can utilyze.

Now that's what I'm talking about!   HA!   ps...do you have a recipe for bath fizzies?  I do ...let me know if you want it.     Julie Ann
