I'm not sure that Lemongrass is classed as citrus, as it comes from an ornamental grass and not a fruit.

Be very cautious using any kind of citrus oils with cats. Lemongrass is great for dogs, but I am not too sure about cats. I know of a couple of our bloggers here are vets, so they could assist with that better than I, but I have used baking soda sprinkled all over the house and on the cat, to get rid of the flees. Had to do it 4 days in a row, but it got rid of them. You could also try putting purification into the baking soda before sprinkling it. Lavender also works too. Hope this helps.

Good morning. I hope this finds you well.
In the ME book, 2nd edition, under Animals (Usage Guide) there's a
statement that a person may use the Children and Infants section as a
guide for cats, except to avoid melaleuca. That's good information,
except most Children and Infants do not get fleas (we hope). =)
What could I use for my long-hair feline to control, eliminate and
prevent fleas? I've had to use Advantage in the past and my girl
really dislikes that as much as I do. Also, what carrier oil do you
recommend for cats?
Thank you for your time and energy. You may reply here or privately.
