Hi all.. I am only 6-7weeks into my second pregnancy, the first being back
in 2009 before I was introduced to Doterra. My first Pregnancy was awful
with extreme morning sickness through THE ENTIRE 9 MONTHS! I had to go into
the hospital several times to have IV's hooked up to me for dehydration. I
couldn't hold down water half the time. Prescribed Zofran didn't even help.
Back then I tried everything from SeaBands to gingerale.. anything and
everything any one suggested. Because of this rough ride I swore I would
never do this again.. And stuck to my guns until last year with my son
approaching 5 I decided maybe this time things would be different.. after
all its been 5 years, every pregnancy is different and I have the oils now!
Man was I wrong.. So far.. But I'm open to ANY suggestions!!! I have been
using peppermint along my jaw bone and on my reflex points, digest zen on
my stomach right where my ribs meet and ginger in a capsule.. all to no
avail. Its hit and miss that I can even hold down the ginger capsule
and water. I also take the life long vitality supplements (when they'll
stay down). Please, if there is any other suggestions or personal
testimonies out there.. I am dying over here and I'll try just about
anything. Its going to be a looooonnnnnggggg 9 months if I can't get this
under control. Not only for nutritional needs but the toll it takes on my
    mood, work and overall relationships.
Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions in advance!
    Sincerely,
A very sick and pregnant Chan

I would try digest zen caplets or internally, with fennel. My wife had
success with peppermint internally. It's what initially got her loving the
oils. You might try the peppermint beadlets. Fennel works wonders. Sorry
    for your discomfort. Rob.

Use raw coconut water (nirvana) if you need rehydrating, it's very easy on
the stomach, even soothing, and tastes amazing. Great for electrolytes.

Thanks Rob! I will definitely try the fennel and coconut water!! Along with
the digestzen capsules. I'll post an update too : )
    I appreciate the advice!

Oh no! Sounds like you have HG. I had it all 4 if my pregnancies and was on a zofran pump with my last one. It awful! I tried everything under the sun! I have no advice but wanted to say I am here if you need to chat! I've been there and it's the worst thing imaginable! I hope you find some relief!

Patty, where do you apply Clarycalm for your hot flashes. Also do you apply periodically or when you get one?

    Suzanne Alotta <szalotta@gmail.com> May 19 08:26AM -0700

I didn't get any responses so thought I would try again. My friend came by and said she was feeling a little better (although she winced several times while she was here) and hopefully it is the frank under the tongue that is helping shrink the cyst. However, I only gave her 5 ml because the other bottles I have have been diluted with FCO. Is there another oil that could help? She is also putting Deep Blue rub on the point of pain.

I live in Italy and won't be going to the states until July. Is there anyone in
Europe who would sell me a bottle? Thanks, Sz

    Robert James <idoterra@gmail.com> May 19 10:02AM -0600

Frankly is the right thinking. If it were me, I would put it on the area
of the cyst topically either neat or with a small amount of coconut oil
added. You could also try oregano (diluted), thyme, melaluca
    or helichrysum. http://thegilbertagency.com/cysts/

Thank you for your reply. I had read that link before which is where I got the idea for drops of frank under the tongue. Her cyst is between her groin and her hip deep in the muscle. I wasn't sure if topically it would reach the cyst? She has a lot of pain so I would like to help her with both pain and shrinking the cyst. I do have oregano and melaluca here. Would those be applied topically? Thanks, Sz

Yes, but dilute the oregano for sure. It's very caustic. The oils will
    find the cyst.

I very much appreciate your help. Should these oils be used layered, or at different times of the day, or rotated each day? Or should I have her try one to see if it helps and if not try a different one? What kind of dilution for the oregano? Would she continue to use the Deep Blue Rub? Thanks again. Sz

My friend asked me how I know that after taking lets say lemon oil every
morning for ten years I won't have a problem from it in the future? I
didn't know how to respond to her.

She also wanted to know the name of the company that verifies the oils are
    what they say they are.

    Thanks!

And perhaps Wintergreen would help with the pain in the meantime. I use
the two together (Lemongrass and Wintergreen) for bone and joint pain.

I have gotten rid of bone spurs using lemongrass. I used it twice a day
very consistently. Then I used it for about a month after it was visibly
gone, or gone to the touch. It took nearly 5 months for one on my index
    finger. Rob

Do you think the lemongrass would work for the knots of a rheumatoid
    arthritic hand?

    brenda <bturbomom@yahoo.com> May 19 09:26AM -0700

She is doing great. Yes she is doing Dr. Hills protocol and has been for
quite a while, also DDR, but she had it in her lungs, brain, breast, liver,
bone, and it is now all gone except about 3 or 4 tiny spots in the bone.
They are still working on it, so when she had the whole throat thing
happen, and it is a very long story, so I will be brief, she lost her voice
and couldn't talk for quite a while, so then she started swishing and
swallowing frank. and helichrysum and that is when Dr. Hill said to add
cedarwood. I will ask him one time when I see him (which is not very
often) why the cedarwood, but her husband said it was helping.

Brenda thanks for info. So encouraging that she is doing well with cancer
and voice. I'll pass on to him and his wife. They are encouraged with
    positive testimonies.

So far so good! Yesterday he took a ride and did some shopping. His wife
told me his nephew who was with him at store got back to his aunt but
nephew was out of breath and she asked why , " I can't keep up with him, he
is moving so fast"!!! He slept very well last night and shared with name
this am he was feeling pretty good. He is adding weight and has very little
anxiety and pain in his left shoulder blade. He still has a lot of gas
after he eats but controlling it with peppermint and digestzen and
candlewood. He told me from three weeks ago till now he feel better.
Scaling it at a 6 out of 10 and 10 being the best.

His color looks really good. His vitals best they been in along time. Even
thought we are applying all oils because he still cannot swallow capsules ,
He feels oils are helping. He up to 4 each LLV Vitamins a day. He is still
eating orally blended meats, veggies and fruits. I would like to have
feedback on doTERRA trim shake. If added fat so he would not lose weight ,
if anyone had a feedback on that.

My uncle was just diagnosed with lung cancer. He first had to have open
heart surgery. He has agreed to use the oils for heart recovery and cancer.
Please pray for him and for his caregivers to not give up and use the oils
as directed. I cannot be there with him but sending inspiration of others
it is working for and worked for.

Thanks for reading my posts and feedback is always helpful.

My husband has skin tags on his eyelids. I'm new and a little nervous to
use anything around the eye. Any suggestions?

    Robert James <idoterra@gmail.com> May 19 10:28AM -0600

I would carefully use frankincense or oregano. Be especially careful with
oregano (it's VERY caustic) Take a q-tip and remove half or more of the
cotton tip. The put a drop of frank on the tip. Use that and carefully
touch it to the skin tag. Don't rub it afterward! And be careful not to
get it in the eye. To be effective I would apply a couple times daily and
be patient. It my take a while. Continue to use at least two weeks after
    the skin tag dissappears.

I am new to doTERRA oils, but learning a lot online. I live/work in E.
Africa and am currently using Potassium Permanganate to wash my fruits and
vegetables. I am now concerned that this is a chemical and leaking into my
foods. Opinions?? If so, will the recommended citrus EO work to clean off
pesticides, possible parasites, feces, etc that we find on our vegetables?
    Thanks!

    Ricardo Nunez <ranb22@gmail.com> May 19 09:07AM -0700

    Hello Tammy,
To wash your veggies and fruits you can use several doTerra Oils.
Grapefruit is very good for that, just add a few drops to a bowl with water
and your fruits or veggies. Also, you could use Lemon, Wild Orange, Citrus
Bliss and other ones. Check this link for more ideas.

    Good luck.

If you use the fruit and vegitables was mentioned in everythingessential.me,
it will also help your fruits and veggies keep for a few extra days.

I just got the foaming face wash a couple days ago and developed a rash on my face that burns. I tested the wash on my arm to see if that is what caused the reaction and the same thing has now happened on my arm. My face looks sunburned from a distance but when you get close you can see it is raised up off the skin.
So, I have a couple of questions.

Do you think the lavender and coconut oil helped and if so, how long did it take to heal?

Have you tried doterra's other face wash? I don't think it has that ingredient in it.

Did you contact doterra about the ingredient that is harmful? I would like to know what they said if you did. I am planning to call Monday. I hope to be able to get my money back.

It makes me happy to know it may be another ingredient and not the oils I am reacting to. I love my oils.
    Thanks,
    Kristen

I take triease every morning and if my allergies are still bothering me later in the day, I will take another one. It works better for me than claritin or zyrtec, but I take at least one every day and sometimes up to 3, depending on how bad the pollen is. Hope that helps.
