[Everything doTERRA] can oils effect stents . they are made of plastic tubing

I have a person taking in oils internally. He has two stents in esophagus area. Will oil cause tubing to disingrate? I know it is not safe to put oils in plastic water bottle and leave for a time for same reason.

Any feedback is appreciated and thank you.
