He might change his tune if those oils are part of a nice massage. There's some great massage blends in Riki's book. My daughter doesn't like the smells of the oils either but she sure loves to be massaged with them and has slowly grown to tolerate them. She now voluntarily uses some of the oils and also Deep Blue Rub for her various pains and occasional burns. She was very happy about OnGuard+ caps so she wouldn't have to use the oil anymore.
