Yes, I agree with Ellen also. We asked doTERRA the same thing and that is pretty much how they responded. I did a little research on the web and it makes since. Nature is not perfect and we want our oils in their purest form. Yes we want every bottle to smell perfect but if they did, I would question the purity.
