OH CHARLY!!!  :0)  You absolutely are the BEST!  I went from feeling so sad for your daughter to getting goose bumps  then to a huge smile & giggling all in these few short paragraphs.  DANG, I'm so glad you share!  What an inspiration this story is!  And I don't even know you but ADORE your posts!  So, so happy for your family.

I hope you will all forgive me for indulging here. I also hope you will forgive all the typos, as I am dictating this from my phone. We moved a few days ago and our Internet is not yet up.

My daughter recently returned from serving a mission in Berlin Germany for our church. She has suffered for many years from ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. While in Germany at the end of her mission, she had a relapse. She ended up in the hospital and they recommended resectioning her bowels along with removal of multiple polyps. She had ulcers, polyps, and blockages in her intestines. There was some question as to whether or not she would be able to finish her mission. She begged them and promised to get care when she returned home. They let her stay.

When she returned home, she was on 60 mg of prednisone twice a day. A ridiculous amount. She was also on several other medications. We knew that she needed treatment, but at that point we did not have insurance. She was discouraged because we had to be rejected for health insurance through regular carriers, and then get approved for the federal plan for uninsurable people, and get through all the paperwork and waiting periods that went with that. She saw this as a delay and was concerned that we would get through all her health issues before school started in the fall.

I guess God wanted her to have more time before surgery. I immediately started her on the lifelong vitality pack and the essential oils protocol recommended to me by Dr. Hill. Today she had a colonoscopy so that they could determine what surgery was needed exactly and what they were going to do. When the doctor came out of her colonoscopy, he said he could not believe it was the same colon. What they had determined was severe before was now mild to moderate. While there are still some lesions, the blockages are gone, the polyps are gone, and most of the ulcers. There is no other thing that she has done except the oils. She weaned herself off prednisone immediately upon returning home. We were very diligent over the last three months to make sure we follow Dr. Hill's advice to the "T." there will be no surgery.

I am so happy for my daughter and she is so happy. I am grateful for the blessing that this has been in our lives. What seemed to be a discouraging waiting time actually gave her body time to heal. The doctor feels that she will never be rid of her disease and that she will always need to be careful to maintain her health in order to stay in remission. I know that if she continues what she is doing, that is all that will be necessary. My daughter is only 23. She was facing huge obstacles. The Lord is good and he has provided doTERRA for us.

Miracles happen every day and we are the recipient of so many of them. Hope this finds you all well.

Now lest you think I have lost my sense of humor, since I seem unable to post without making a little joke or two, I have one for you. We had a friend who's going in for reconstructive surgery on her breasts today.  I sent her a text that said "good morning! Happy national booby day! In honor of this day, I hear there is a buy one get one free sale. Of course we thought they said national poopy day, so we're in the wrong line. Have a great day!"

Charly
