[Everything doTERRA] Re: dog care for fleas and ticks and heartworms

Kristen Leigh Bell in her book Holistic Aromatherapy for Animals includes a couple of pages specifically talking about melaleuca. She mostly talks about the fact that because melaleuca (tea tree oil) is so well-know that it leads to overuse. Purity issues of the oils are also a concern (though not for us who use doTERRA). So no I don't believe that it is "extremely toxic," rather, as Karen write on p. 127: "Personally, I care very little for Tea Tree. I do use it on occasion, but always an oil of the highest quality in dilution with other oils. It definitely has great therapeutic value, but as with any essential oil, its intensity leaves much room for misuse."
