Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Oils for EXTREME stage fright?

I view stage fright similarly to pstd because it is a situational trigger that causes an anxious response.  this is how i helped myself with my own ptsd, it my work in this situation too.  you could potentially use any oil she likes for this technique

quoting myself:
"I have experienced a lot of relief from my PTSD symptoms by putting Balance and Serenity or Lavender on my feet and neck before going to bed.  If I wake up in the middle of the night (which is uncommon when I use these oils) I apply more.

Every time I had a positive experience in talk therapy, I would eat a liquorice (Good and Plenty).  That has programmed my body to react positively to the smell and taste of liquorice.  Next month I'm going to order Fennel because I think it will be a more powerful trigger for positive feelings.  I take a liquorice any time I feel anxious or rage and it helps me to get through it.  I'm hoping Fennel will be even better since I'm not supposed to have candy :)  Just an idea for your dad that I haven't tried yet.  Not because Fennel has specific uses for mental health (it might, I'm not sure), but you can help your body trigger to positive things just like negative things.  I hope this is making sense.  Let me know if I need to clarify :)"

this method helped me a lot.  perhaps if she works on anxiety coping skills and smells or tastes an oil as she does them, then when she smells or tastes them before the performance, it would be easier for her to cope.  i think this could work

I gave a friend of mine who was pregnant some frankincense when she was doing a singing competition and it worked great.
