Both my mom and I had periods after being exposed to a couple drops of Serenity. It was unexpected for my mom because she was in the middle of menopause. It was unexpected for me because I just had a baby 3.5 months before. We returned to normal after that period. Perhaps you used an oil that caused an unexpected release?

As I am trying to figure out exactly what is causing it, it seems like maybe I am reacting most to OnGuard (which I love). Does this sound logical? Should I keep using it and try the Gx and PB Assist - assuming my body is cleansing, or should I avoid OnGuard until I am regulated a bit?
