Hmmm...I have been using the same litter for years. It is a clumping litter, and it gets cleaned on a daily basis. We have been using Evolve Cat Food. Relatively new - no gluten. One of my cats its fat. Since all of this, I have added more wet food into their diet, and decreasing the dry. I actually think most of pooping started after the guy was finished doing the walls downstairs.
I am thinking of locking them up at night, but they can make such a ruckus when they inadvertantly get locked outside, I can only image what'll happen if they get stuck in the bathroom! = ( I just moved the litter box to a more open area where it is not surrounded by so much stuff (until we can deal with getting it all put back).
As for the peeing on clothes, that is something they started who knows when. We will keep stuff off of floors for awhile and then one kid makes a pile to wash, and I don't get to it, and one of them pees on it >=/
I have one that is attention starved no matter what kind of attention he gets. He smothers with his love and they both sleep with the kids at night.
The other one runs from me because they are afraid I'm going to give them medicine. I had stress reliever medicine I was suppose to put in their ears, but I can't catch them cuz they know what's coming....so who knows if I can even get close with Serenity.
Maybe the next box of litter I buy, I'll try and new one. I am so frustrated, and feel so defeated. I hope people keep posting. I need all the help I can get! Thanks!

Yes solution, do the laundry ASAP, or don't put clothes on floor, BUT they will find something whether it is a corner of a blanket or something hanging off or out. First thought bladder infection. The antibiotics give them diarrhea...why antibiotics? I have read you have to becareful giving oils to cats. Any experiences? NOW part two. We have been doing remodeling, and it is taking forever. It seems the cats are annoyed that we have stored things (aside from the other stuff that was already stored there) in their "cat room" they are pooping in the room we have cleared out to remodel!! Not only poop, but big piles of diarrhea. How am I suppose to put new carpet down, when they are doing this??? I'm thinking of locking them up at the vet to be observed. This is making me nuts, and my husband is furious. Not to mention, they still use the litter box...What the..??Thanks, Joelle
