oil suggestion: marjoram and thyme on the chest

non-oil suggestion: search "huff coughs".  Sometimes when you cough wrong, your throat gets irritated and makes you cough more. Practicing huff coughs makes you cough from the bottom of your lungs instead of from your throat.
