Re: [Everything doTERRA] Thyroid, triglycerides and border line diabetic

Denise,

For triglycerides, it's fairly simple; stop sweets and simple carbs. If he can exercise, that will help lower the BGs. You may want to read up on Iodine: http://www.iodine4health.com/

I will leave the oil part to the more knowledgeable among us.

Best,
Linda

Hello everyone, I just joined doTERRA and have used oils in the past thru a Doctor that cured me of a couple of health problems.  Now I have questions regarding my husband, he is on thyroid med's because his thyroid is low, on med's for his triglycerides - which when he started was close to 1000, yep miracle he did not have a stroke or heart attack, and lately his sugar runs between 120-134.  His dr. feels all of this is really because of his thyroid.  With meds he has gotten his triglycerides down to the 200-300's.

My question is with the oils, if I can get his thyroid working without meds and by using the oils, and I saw in the essential oil book a mixture that can be used on the reflex. point on the foot.  My question is should this be applied in the morning before work, or at night before bed?  Is there a general time that you usually apply oils when applying to the feet?

Also, what would you recommend for his triglycerides?

Thank you
Denise
