Exercise and lots of food (5-6 meals) is the best thing for gaining weight. Look at the athletes in different sports and decide on the body type you want to acheive and do that. You can't go past weight training 3-4 times a week for building quality muscle. Protein shakes and weig ht gaining drinks are useful if you find it hard to eat 6 meals as you can use them between your 3 or 4 meals. Getting some good quality protein and carbs within 30 mins of exercise is essential too.

Be sure to include some high calorie foods.as well. Peanut butter and coconut oil would be good. eat lots of sweet potato and veg as well.
