It may depend on the airline. If you go to their website it probably will explain the rules, especially if you are going out of the country. You can always bring a flat rate box and stamp for shipping. Most airlines (I use Alaska the most) allow you anything that is under 3 oz that can be fit in a quart sized ziploc bag that can be closed. I don't recommend the ones with white slide tabs they don't hold as much.
