I have suffered from crippling migraines myself and have found what works for me. I have shared this with other women in my area and they have also found great relief from it.
My migraines are hormonal but of course I have other triggers such as stress.
When I am in the midst of nasty migraines I have to use clary sage multiple times a day to get relief. I apply it on my thyroid area, behind each ear and on the base of my skull. I went 10 months without a single migraine after starting using clary sage in a heavy dose style like this. Bear in mind I had odd side effects. It was years from the last time I breastfed but suddenly I felt that feeling that comes when your milk is letting down. As my migraines stop I lessen the dose of clary sage.
In the 10 months when I was not having migraines I had to make sure I used clary sage up to 3x a week with only a few drops each time to keep the migraines away.
Unfortunately I had a medication that triggered my migraines to start again (this medication was synthroid) and what fixed it again the 2nd time was applying clary sage multiple times a day to the locations I've mentioned.
It should also be noted that I receive instant relief from cramps when I rub clary sage near my ovaries.
Just in case you were not aware, clary sage should not be used when consuming alcohol.

Thanks for all these tips. They are all so helpful! It sounds like it's just sort of trial and error, so I'll suggest starting with clary sage, deep blue, and past tense to help with the migranes, and then maybe we can find the root cause of it (liver, hormones, etc...). But at least then she'd hopefully have some immediate relief for the headaches!--

They usually come right before I have a period... so I assume it's related to hormones. I have them usually while breastfeeding.. I have been take Primrose.. I have also found that when I start to get one I drink as much water/Apple cider vinegar as I can. This helps alot. If you've heard of anything let me know."I'm new to the oil business so any advice would help.
