I have tinnitus too - mine is pulsatile tinnitus.  I hear my heart pounding in my right ear.  It's not constant, but it's enough that it's really a concern to me.  It constantly sounds and feels like the right side of my head is clogged up too.  I have had MRI's, CT scans done, seen an ENT and they all say that I have "sinusitis" but that it's "long term."  They tell me it's not bad enough to do surgery, but they always just prescribe an anti-biotic that doesn't work!  This has been going on for close to two years now!  I sing and this ear problem (mainly the pulse in my ear) is really affecting things.  It's almost so bad that I can't sing anymore because I can't hear properly. 

I've tried the frankincense on my ear a few times, but haven't had the results.  I would like to try helichrysum.  But it's OOB right now (out of budget).  I can't seem to justify spending $100 on just a 5ml bottle.  Do you know if doTerra will be lowering the price any time?  And if not, are there ANY other oils that might help with this??

Yes, I have had three people use Frankicense of their tinnitus. They put
some
on their finger and started at the back of the their ear, bringing it down
the jaw
line and repeated the application on the front of the ear and then with just
a
dot on their finger touched it gently on the edge and just inside their ear.
All
three off them had relief, and have no more problems. One after just a
single
application and the others after a couple of applications. I have also had
one use Helichrysum with the same results.
