Don't be squimish about taking to this mom on behalf of her daughter. These oils can make all the difference in the world, but you will need to start out slowly.First you need to explain about essential oils, where they come from, how long they have been on the earth (forever), why we have them (for wellness), just a brief explanation, tell about how you use the oils and then ask if she is interested in using the oils on her daughter. Never say you can cure her or any other type of claims. Tell her that the oils can probably help a number of her problems and you would suggest a few things.
- I would suggest you start her on the GX, because of her age I would cut open the GX capsule and rub the ingredients on each of her feet and do it every day. I would also have her start taking two of the PB Assist. They are small and if she can't take them alone, put one in a spoonful of applesauce twice a day.
- I would also do the GX for 10 days and the PB for five days and then rest for 10 days and repeat the whole procedure.
- I would rub basil and Lavender on the back of her ear and down the jawline and then the front of the ear and down the jawline. I would repeat this twice a day.
- I would start OnGuard on the bottom of her feet and Frankincense along the spine.
I would do this protocol for one month and then see what results there are. That way we can see if we need to be more aggressive. Remember how important it is to be CONSISTENT.
Keep up posted regarding this little girl and if the Mom needs to talk to anyone about the oils let me know. There are a lot of people on this site that are a lot smarter than I am. We can all pull together and do what we can to help.

Dear friends,
Here is a letter I have permission to share with you:
I'm an older mom (just turned 40) and Isa will be 3 in July. She was an unexpected blessing and she is the center of our lives (my husband and mine). She's actually been a sickly baby. She suffered from GER from 4 months old and was put on both Prevacid and Axid until she turned 1. From 6 months old she started suffering terrible and constant ear infections and asthma (triggered by colds/flu) so she has the ear tubes but even then she continued having ear infections until last march, and now (she is just suffering from the 1st ear infection in about a year). The tubes are still in place and her ear started draining. Her asthma is undercontrol because she takes Singulair and Pulmicort (budesonide) treatments every day. She has seen the allergist and she was not diagnosed with any allergies, but she had suffered from constant runny nose and colds while she was in day care.
On top of that, she also suffers from something called PFAPA (Periodic Fever, Aphthous-stomatitis, Pharyngitis, Adonitis Syndrome). What does that mean? She suffers from periodic HIGH fevers (every month or so), the high fevers have gone up to 105.6 in one episode. Along with the fever, she gets mouth ulcers and geographic tongue, sore/read throat (sometimes with white spots), headaches, stomach aches, some times vomiting and joint pain. She's seen the Infectious Disease dr. and she was put on Cimetidine (Tagamet) which is used to help with the periodicity of the fevers. She hadn't had a fever episode since December, but even the it was low grade until last week when she run a 105 fever. Her PFAPA episodes some times come without the fever (she gets all the other symptoms) as well. However, she is a rambunctious almost 3 year-old who likes to perform (dance and singing are her thing). She is being raised bilingual and she has an excellent vocabulary for her age.
This mom is open to the oils, but I am a little squeamish about treating such a small child with so many conditions--am not sure where to start. Hope Pat or someone can lend me some advice!!
Thanks so much!!
Susan
