i love cooking with my oils! i add oregano, basil, thyme and marjoram to all my recipes... spaghetti sauce, ziti, chicken pesto pizza, mom's creamy chicken soup, chicken noodle soup, tortilla soup, and on and on... the flavor of the eos are so much more vibrant and stronger than fresh or dried herbs or yuckky natural flavorings:)... love it! I have made soup for sickly's and added oregano and thyme or basil and they have felt better quickly... I know the therapeutic benefits are still available in cooking them:)
cinnamon is good for cooking, too:)
you have some good ones to go for a start... I love the wild orange and lemon in brownies, cakes and frostings.... I also love the peppermint in brownies, cakes and trail mixes:)
I am working on a cookbook now and will be using all my recipes for this with essential oils... :)
good luck to her and you...
