Yes - I know what the meds are.  I am 31 and have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 19.  These meds that your friend is on are pretty powerful.  Methotrexate is a chemotherapy drug that was once used in cancer patients.  I was on that for quite some time, but it didn't help me. And I had awful side effects from it (even lost hair because of it!). The remicade is an infusion that's a TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) blocker.  I have been on something similar for the past 10 years, called Enbrel.  I've seen amazing success while taking Enbrel, but yes, the side effects are risky (as with any traditional medication).  For me, I found that the benefits greatly outweighed the side effects. The biggest side effect for me being that it lowers my immune system.  However, since starting doTerra, I've been able to cut back on my meds quite a bit.  AND I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my immune system!!  I haven't gotten sick this season (and normally I would have been sick 4-5 times by now!).  That might not sound like much to the "average" person, but for me it's a HUGE deal!!  I was always coming down with this or that - any time I was around ANY person with a little cold, or flu or any other sickness, I would get it.  But since starting with doTerra, I haven't gotten sick!!

What has helped me the most is taking the LLW along with doing the GX and PB assists.  I would strongly recommend that your friend do these things.  Also - I find that the Past Tense blend works the very best on my pain.  I have fibromyalgia as well as RA and I like the past tense even better than the deep blue (AND it's less expensive!).  So you might have her try that.

Good luck to your friend.  I know how frustrating, isolating and debilitating this disease can be!!

Here is what she says:

I am 38 years old and I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 10 years old.  I have been controlled with medication all my life and currently take methotrexate and cimzia injections but doesn't seem to be getting complete relief.  I have been on just about everything for my arthritis over the years, most recently I stopped doing remicade infusions.  I was not happy with the side effects and over all relief.
