Hi Allyson,
It's great you're getting to vacation in China. I wish I had the oils when I went in '04 and '05. The issues you'll have to deal with are really the same as with other foreign places one might visit. You need to take care of your immune system, deal with unfamiliar food issues, minor first aid, and general cleanliness. If you're going with a tour group that's staying in places that cater to tourists, the conditions will be better than if you're going to be off the beaten track to remote, rural villages or the Tibet regions, etc.
My recommendations would be any of the emergency oils - OnGuard, Purify, DigestZen and/or any other oils for digestion that you've found helpful, Breathe, TerraShield, Frankincense, Lavender, Melaleuca, Deep Blue (the sample packets of the Rub are great for packing), PastTense (can't remember the new name), and any oils you like for chilling out when stressed.
A final word of advice - don't drink the tap water, only drink packaged bottled water from supermarkets or water that has been boiled (you'll see lots of large thermoses with that), and of course tea.
Have fun!
