I do know that using Immortelle around the eye bone on a dally basis can promote and maintain eye health.

I am a new member and have enjoyed using the oils on my family.  I have two boys 11 and 7 and they request OnGuard when they are fighting a cold.  I have the Family Physician's Kit and am learning to use those oils.

My younger son has a long history of head pain and dizziness.  I have devoted a tremendous amount of energy to healing his gut through diet and he has made amazing improvements because of this.  In addition I strongly feel the wiring of his brain needs additional improvement. 

He recently was evaluated for the health of his eyes because he is quite slow in learning to read.  He was diagnosed as having Convergence Insufficiency.  This means his eyes have difficulty coordinating as a team when looking at near. One eye will turn out causing double vision and he has a slow inadequate ability to rejoin them. Convergence Insufficiency can lead to headaches and difficulty keeping place when reading. His eyes have more difficulty with converging in up-gaze, which can make it difficult to judge how far a ball is when catching a fly ball. He was prescribed vision therapy.  He has completed 7 weekly sessions with 17 more to go.  There is also daily home exercises.

I am curious whether there are oils that can help him while his eye muscles are retrained during vision therapy.  I feel his eye muscles are tired and also his head during the rewiring of his brain that happens during visual therapy. It causes him extreme discomfort.  I would like to support him .  He doesn't want to do the vision therapy and basically throws a fit every single night when we are doing "eye homework".

Does anyone have any suggestions as to an oil protocol that would help?

I appreciate any help that you all could offer.
