Remember to count your blessings and that you have done the same thing to people at one point or another. so love your neighbor and treat them as you would like to be treated. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. Without his birth, we would all be dead. we are all brothers and sisters. so remember that when someone is rude or mean this holiday and smile instead and watch how they transform and how you feel after...trust me it will make things more calmer, less stress. we dont live in perfect but we can do all things in Christ who gives us the strength to do it.

To STAY grounded during the holidays, you must BE grounded to begin with.
My brother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma this time last year and has endured a year of chemotheray and raditaion and it worked. He is getting stronger everyday and we our whole family is embracing this life with more gratitude than ever before. Thank you God for our time together, every moment is a gift.
To honor my brother and all those who have fought and are fighting blood cancer, I am running the ING Half Marathon on March 21, 2010. If you have a family member who is battling or has battled blood cancer, please send me their name. email - abergin@thecouponizer.com - Subject Line: Amy, run for ...
I will write their name on a ribbon attachd to my race number. While ribbons for those who have passed away and purple ribbons for survivors.

Favorite Christmas Treat

My favorite Christmas treat is Cherry Cheese Pie. My mother used to make it every Christmas. It's made into a pre-made piecrust. You bake that then it's a mixure of cream cheese, instant pudding mix and cherrypie filling. It's GREAT! As my Mom got older she couldn't make it anymore. One Christmas Eve my brother invited my Mom and me and my daughters to dinner. I made Mom's pie and brought it with us. My brother was extremely happy to see the pie. As he praised Mom for being able to make the pie a slow smile appeared on her face. "Your sister made the pie, not me" She said proudly. At first he didn't believe her but as he ate it he said "You taught her well Mom. It tastes just like yours" I have made the pie every Christmas since. And now with my Mom gone its another way for us to remember her through the Holidays. Happy Holidays Everyone!

Hi there, yes our fav christmas treat is strawberry cheesecake... this is very easy to make. Just mash up some cookies, warm them in a little butter, press them into a cake tin, allow to cool, in a separate dish, melt some strawberry flavour jello ,jelly with half the water needed, and make up the rest with some cream cheese, and sugar to taste. once the jello has melted fully, gently spoon the jello mixture on the biscuit base, and allow to set in fridge top shelf for about two hours, i usually top with tinned strawberrys sliced in half, and some aerated cream. Enjoy!
