Newbie here to the group and also making lotions, creams, bars, etc.
-- I'm trying to salvage an internet recipe I made that was supposed to be a lotion, but turned out to be something much harder. Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, Vit E, and beeswax.
Due to the overwhelming heavy smell of the olive oil, I added more coconut oil to the mix to make the mixture softer (somewhat successful...the recipe calls for too much beeswax IMHO).
Now I'm looking for the essentials oils (cheaper ones) to add that will cover up the heavy olive oil smell without making the mixture smell any worse. Hopefully something unisex!? Something not too flowery or pungent.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Mike
