Have you thought of using Helichrysum alone? Or even with the Deep Blue rub. I know that using a bit of coconut oil with the oils can help with the skin irritation. You might also want to try the DDR caps and liquid as part of his protocol.

I wanted to share what little progress we've made with my husband's nerve damage.  The damage has been labeled as 'irreversible' by multiple doctors.  He has background pain and was having horrible pain spikes that hit out of nowhere and were increasing in duration, frequency, and intensity.

After a few days of using frankincense and Deep Blue - about 20% each - the pain spikes went away

A month later I switched him to Frank and Marjoram, and the spikes came back.  It's something in the Deep Blue that is helping - heli?????

He is now on about week 2 of taking LLV at full dose.  

He uses Frank and Deep Blue at the epicenter of pain in his hip twice a day, where the pain is deep.

He puts lemongrass along his lower back at the base of his spine as there is concern there is inflammation there. Twice a day.

He puts geranium on the sole of one foot.  Marjoram on the sole of the other.  Twice a day.

He puts Deep Blue Rub down the outside of his leg where the nerve pain is superficial - it helps amazingly but causes skin irritation after a few weeks of use so he has good weeks and bad weeks depending on if he can do this.  

The pain is no longer getting worse.  The pain spikes are gone.  The pain levels aren't really going down and the nerve pain is migrating from his hip near the joint to the outside.  Any thoughts?  I should have all the oils for the nerve blend by this time next month.  Thank goodness doTERRA pays us well for using and sharing the oils!
