My dad has been using doterra EO's for about 6 months now. He started using them because of shoulder and knee pain. He would put on a combination of oils every night prior to bed and they would help him sleep and ease his pain. He also started taking the LLV supplements. He got great relief and was resting well. About 2 months ago, he had back surgery and stopped using the oils because he was taking prescription pain meds during his initial recovery period. Once he was done with those, he wanted to start using his oils again for his shoulder. When he put them on, within a couple of days, he broke out in a rash in the areas that he put them. It's reddened and itchy but it cleared up for a while. So he tried his oils again and broke out once again. Now it's not clearing up after trying numerous things. What could be causing this? Is there any remedy that he should try? He really enjoyed the oils and the relief that he got with them. Why would he be reacting like this now when he didn't before? He's using the exact same combination of oils in the exact same way. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
