[Everything doTERRA] Prader-Willi Syndrome

My son, 2 yrs old (26 months), has Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).  I have talked with his Pediatric Endocrinologist, Dr. Jennifer Miller (in Gainsville, FL; who specializes and does active research with PWS), about the use of essentials oils with him.  She said that it would be okay if I wanted to try them, but said she was not familiar with them to know what would be best.  The main focus I'm trying to see if we can help is his metabolism and absorption of nutrients, and time it around his routine labs so we can see if there is any change.  As I'm not sure of your knowledge of PWS, basically a portion of one of chromosome 15 is missing and that, in part, controls the hypothalamus.  So he has endocrine problems, among others.  He is currently on growth hormone, a multi-vitamin, fish oil vitamin, and B12 vitamins.  People with PWS, in time, have problems with always feeling hungry (as that message from brain to stomach to tell you that you are full, does not work), yet with a naturally slow metabolism actually need less calories than a typical person.  He is already on a diet recommended by Dr. Miller and his nutritionist.  He is now also having trouble with high cholesterol which is actually going up slightly after diet and supplements changes (we have added prebiotin and probiotics).  I have also been giving him 1/2 capsule of Terrazyme with his meals.
