Dear All,
My father-in-law has the FED condition at the moment that is "Fuchs' dystrophy (pronounced fuchs-DIS-trə-fe) also known as Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy, is a slowly progressing corneal dystrophy that usually affects both eyes and is slightly more common in women than in men. Although doctors can often see early signs of Fuchs' dystrophy in people in their 30s and 40s, the disease rarely affects vision until people reach their 50s and 60s." (quoted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuchs'_dystrophy)
The tear duct or tear gland doesn't produce tears and he needs to rely on prescribed eye drop. Doctor mentioned that he might need to undergo surgery. Please advise whether I could get Life Long Vitality supplements, DDR Prime for him that he could consume. I have mixed some lavender and geranium oils for him to apply around the areas of eye, not closed to eye and hopefully they would help loosen up the tension on eyes where he doesn't have tears on it. Would those supplement help in providing more nutrition for his eyes that causes his corneal issue?
Please share with me more. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Kathy
