A friend of mine is asking for help. Here is the message she sent me.--Hi! What oils help with neuropathy? I have some crazy health stuff going on right now, and it's very scary. I don't know what is going on, we are in the process of tons of tests but the doctors are stumped. My body is going numb. I have lost 22 lbs since jan without trying, and I recently noticed all 10 fingertips were numb. Didn't think much of it at first thought it was from massaging, but later realized if it's carpal tunnel or thoracic outlet, etc, only a few should go numb at a time, not all 10. I went to the doctor and thought they'd say it was from massage, but we came to realize it's not just my finger tips, it's most of my body. There are still some random places with full sensation where if you pinch me hard it would be a 10 on the pain scale of 1-10, but the majority of my body can be pinched as hard as possible and it's only a 1 on the pain scale. It's crazy that I didn't notice, but it doesn't tingle or hurt and I can still feel that something is touching me, but I have almost no pain sensation.
In hind sight I can remember getting a massage I think from you (?) in class near the end of the year and saying how weird it was that it feels numb on my back when you touch me, but I can feel it as you go deeper into the muscle. I thought it was because we hadn't been getting massage all the time like the first half of school so my body just not as sensitive as usual. But turns out it's something far more serious than that.
The doctors are at a loss though. All my blood work is coming back "unremarkable" and they have done nearly 30 tests for everything possible. It's not diabetes, which would have explained the weight loss and neuropathy. It's not anything they have tested for yet.
I had a brain MRI on Thurs and it shows no tumors but some "unusual areas." I am waiting for an appt with the neurologist to see what they come up with.
Anyway, I remember you saying how diabetes patients with neuropathy had success with the oils, so I am hoping maybe that can help me in some way too. I'm just looking for any and all options right now.
So send me all the reiki and healing energy you can. I am very scared right now.
