I deal with diverticulitis on a regular basis. Must get rid of constipation it is main cause. Hard B M's can tare lining of colon and make it worse. For inflammation I use 3 drops cinnamon and 3 drops melaleuca in gel cap 3 x a day until pain subsides. Rub melaleuca and digestin over area several times a day. If gx assist doesn't help constipation then use a gentle laxative better than surgery or even worse "death' can't mess around with it. Must up fiber level to 30 g a day. From one who knows...
