[Everything doTERRA] Re: Weightloss for dogs

If you haven't had his thyroid tested I would suggest that. If you want to try oils without testing then a combination of peppermint and Clove Bud (50/50). Apply one drop twice a day on his thyroid. If it is thyroid you will see an energy level difference and the wait will drop off very quickly.

I have been doing this with my dog. He lost 5 pounds in a month.  Has 10 pounds more to go to be back to his normal weight.

Usually we apply oils to the pads of the dogs feet.  If you allow them to smell the oils they will indicate which ones will benefit them.  When my dog had is skin infection he chose Vetiver. It worked well. When I realized why he chose it we added it to his shampoo and the skin infection went away.

My 11 year old Chihuahua is very overweight. He's around 15 pounds and should be 7 or 8 pounds.  My question to anyone out there who has had this problem with there pet is: Can Slim and Sassy oil blend be used on dogs? Is it safe and do you think it would work to get his weight down? Any help  will be appreciated!
